Today is the last day of a long Fourth-of-July weekend of fantastic weather in Maryland. This fact was reflected in the turnout at C&C today.
Here's one of 2(!) vintage firetrucks that showed up.
'Merica shirts and American muscle were in great supply.
The 'Merican V8 on this Sunbeam wanted to fight it's way out of the oppressive little roadster body.
So many V8s.
So many land-yachts.
Trunks so big you could fit a metric shit-ton of freedom in there but real patriots use imperial measurements.
Plenty of not-at-all questionable American design.
Chromed-out dashes all day.
There were also plenty of cars from countries America beat at wars so we could get their cars, too. America needs all of the cars, obviously.
There was a super-clean 2002 that I know belongs to someone in here.
A beat-up Morris Minor delivery van showed up and 4 kids got out of the back. That's what I call good parenting.
True Americans aren't afraid to show off some muscle.
This van is truly American art. The shag carpet and wood paneling run strong.
The van owner's lady has a sense of humor about it. American women know you can't tame a True Patriot.©
Americans an wagons and apple pie and baseball.
True Americans love a good foreign toy, though.
Them flashy foreign cars are alright as long as we can keep our classics.

I'm good friends with the owner of this 427 C2. Really nice guy with a nice collection of cars.
